The following is a list of the scans and scan packages we currently have on offer at BabyFace4d.
We have carefully planned our services and prices to enable us to offer a high quality, professional service designed to be available and accessible to everyone.
If you are unable to decide on which scan package you prefer, we would be happy to discuss your individual requirements.

We do offer a FREE rescan on all 4d packages if your baby is being particularly anti-social at your first visit and we cannot get images.
Early Pregnancy Scan - £70 (includes £30 deposit)
Scan Period: From 8 weeks

Private early pregnancy ultrasound scan (also called viability or early scan).
We recommend that you present your early pregnancy scan results to your usual healthcare professional whose contact details we take at the time of booking. All scans are performed by a qualified Ultrasound Practitioner with diagnostic obstetric scanning experience.
Purpose of the scan:
To determine the viability (demonstrating fetal heart activity) of an early pregnancy using 2D ultrasound.
To determine whether single or multiple pregnancy between 8 - 11 weeks gestation.
No fetal sexing is undertaken.
May involve transvaginal / internal scanning.
Includes standard early pregnancy measurement and report.
Includes 2 thermal b/w prints, as appropriate

40 minutes appointment.

Bronze 4D scan package - £135

Scan Period: 25 - 33 weeks of pregnancy.

Information
For clarification, 3D scan images refers to still images which are provided on a CD Rom and photographs and 4D scans refers to the real time moving image of the baby.
BabyFace4d DVD's and CD-ROM's will be available to take away on the day of your appointment.
Please note that mounted colour prints will be sent out to you in the post.
The clarity and quality of your 2D, 3D & 4D images are affected by several factors: the position of the baby in the womb, the amount of amniotic fluid (water) around the baby and the amount of maternal body tissue (skin, fat & muscle) between the scanning probe and the baby.
Please note that our 2D / 3D and 4D ultrasound scans are not undertaken as fetal abnormality checks.
All 2D, 3D & 4D, ultrasound scans should offer medical benefits and not be solely for aesthetic purposes. All our ultrasound baby scans are primarily intended to enhance parental bonding. Over the past few years there have been reports in various medical journals that 3D / 4D baby scans have both psychological and other health benefits.
It is important to both yourself and the well being of your baby that you attend all your normal routine antenatal checks with your health care providers.
If, however, we suspect that there may be a problem, this will be explained in a much detail as possible. With your consent, we will liaise with your GP or midwife responsible for your care and a full complete report will be sent to your health professionals.
If you are more then 15 minutes late we reserve the right to cancel the appointment with the loss of your deposit.
A non-refundable deposit of £30 will be required on booking an appointment.
We reserve the right to charge a late cancellation fee of £50.
To cover the associated costs a 2% charge will be applied when appointments are made using a credit card.
